Sutterfield Consignment Gallery

Sutterfield Consignment Gallery is a small business platform I rebuilt and continue to evolve as a long-running personal project. What began as a website redesign has grown into an end-to-end digital system covering brand identity, content workflow, inventory presentation, email, social media, marketing assets, analytics, SEO, and customer engagement.

When I took over the digital presence, the site was built on WordPress and the online brand experience was inconsistent. I redesigned and rebuilt the site from the ground up, creating a cleaner identity and integrating directly with Flickr so inventory updates could happen through an existing photo workflow instead of manual website maintenance.

The project began in 2015 with Express, Node.js, and native ES6 JavaScript. Over time, I refactored it through multiple generations of frontend architecture, first into React and later into a modern Next.js application, with integrations including Flickr, Mailgun, and Mailchimp.

Beyond the website, I developed a custom design system and marketing toolkit for Sutterfield, covering digital assets, brand identity, social media presentation, email templates, and print materials such as business cards. The project continues to support real business operations and revenue, giving me a practical environment to connect product decisions, technical architecture, marketing strategy, and customer behavior.
